Hey, y'all.
I started writing Project Emma the summer before my senior year of college. In fact, it was the first novel I wrote and completed in college. For that, I suppose, it holds a very special place in my heart.
Project Emma revolves around the character arc and development of seventeen year-old Emma. Emma resides in a tiny town in Mississippi, not-so-affectionately called "Nomansville." She is college bound, desperate to go anywhere but home.
That is until that party at that lakehouse. Suddenly, things get messy.
In just six months and three hundred pages, Emma's decision to trade in "Nomansville" for the Ivy League becomes much, much more difficult. It is the tragic story of first love, friendship, betrayal, loss, and terrible jokes.
The past couple of weeks, I, with the help of my phenomenal editor from Finch Books and Totally Entwined Publishing, have been pouring over the manuscript, polishing it, and making it the best book it can be, so that Emma's journey can really shine.
I'll keep y'all updated through the editing process, but in the meantime, I've put together a little Pinterest board that captures the essence of the characters, so please feel free to check it out and comment below.
